According to a report from L’Équipe, Olympique de Marseille have approached Chelsea FC with an offer to bring Aarón Anselmino (19) on loan to the Stade Vélodrome until the end of the season.

The Argentine left-back has only just returned to the Premier League club after he was bought in the summer and then loaned immediately back to his formative team, Boca Juniors. Marseille will hope that they can prove to be a staging ground for a defender who has not yet played in Europe.

Marseille have been looking to bolster their squad for the final stretch of the season as they attempt to secure a return to the Champions League. L’Équipe understands that the team hope to bring in two more players by the end of the window. Les Phocéens already completed the transfer of Amine Gouiri from Stade Rennais yesterday.
